Today, we got to accompany Brynley on a new little adventure. She got to go to UNLV to participate in a piano festival. She practiced her two piano pieces to perfection for months. Memorized them even! I think we all had them memorized :)
We got to UNLV early and walked around enjoying the campus. Brynley was a little nervous when her appointed time came to play for the judges. We couldn't listen to her perform... we just stood outside of the room with our fingers crossed and a little prayer in our hearts. She came out smiling and saying, "I MESSED UP TWO NOTES!" We waited for about 15 minutes to see what the judges had to say. She was convinced she wouldn't get a good rating.
She didn't need to worry! She got the best rating she could :)

It was a great experience for her. It was fun to watch her put the time in, work hard, and really want to do well at something. We're proud of her!!

Today was Tanner's LAST day of basketball. His final middle school game. They lost. Which is a perfect way to end their sad season of losses. Despite all of the losing, he really enjoyed the season. He played his little heart out :)

Bridger turned FIVE today! I have high, high hopes to get a birthday post done for him (and one for Brynley... who's birthday was in FEBRUARY. i am hopelessly behind...). Just in case it doesn't happen, a token picture from his big day:
